Is lip blushing permanent?
Lip blushing is considered a tattoo, so therefore it is considered permanent. The lip blushing will fade over time if client does not get any periodic touch ups. There are no guarantees that the lip blushing will completely fade away.
What will my lips look like after procedure?
The lip color will appear a vibrant and bold color for the first couple of days. The lips will be tender and a bit swollen also.
Is lip blushing painful?
Let me preface by saying that everyones pain tolerance if completely different. Stephanie uses a numbing agent throughout the whole process and most clients say the pain is minimal.
Describe the lip blushing process?
The lip blushing process consists of a preliminary consultation, picture taking, pre-drawing, procedure, and one more set of pictures.
How long does lip blushing last?
This technique lasts approximately 1-3 years before needing a ‘periodic touch up'. The variation in time is determined by lifestyle, sun exposure and skin type.
How often should I get a lip blush touch up?
After your first treatment is fully complete, including the complimentary touch up 6 weeks, you can refresh your lip blush every 1-3 years or longer. Stephanie does require a picture of your lip blushing before booking the periodic touch up.
Can I apply lip gloss and/or lipstick after lips are healed?
Yes, you may apply any lip products of your desire. Lip blushing is not going to give the vibrant lipstick effect. Clients may still want that look on occasions and will need to apply lipstick.
Can I swim, shower, or exercise after my lip blush treatment?
Yes, 2 weeks after treatment.
